Viberti Wine Feature
Saturday April 12th
Viberti, a historic winery in Barolo, Piedmont, was founded in the early 20th century by Antonio Viberti and has remained family-run for three generations. Known for producing elegant, varietally expressive wines, the estate spans 20 hectares of vineyards planted to Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, and Chardonnay, including renowned single vineyards like Bricco delle Viole and Ravera. Combining modern techniques with traditional aging in large oak barrels, Viberti crafts Barolo wines that balance bold structure with fresh fruit and vibrant acidity, rewarding both early enjoyment and extended cellaring.

Tuscany Flight
Monday April 14th
Tuscany, Italy’s most famous wine region, is home to a rich winemaking tradition that blends history, innovation, and world-class craftsmanship. While Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino showcase the elegance of traditional Sangiovese, the rise of Super Tuscans in the 1970s defied convention, pushing Tuscan wines to new heights. These bold and expressive reds—often blending Sangiovese with international grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah—emphasize quality over tradition, breaking the rigid DOCG rules to craft wines.

Paitin Flight
Monday April 21st
Founded in 1796, Paitin is one of the oldest and most revered estates in Barbaresco, located in the village of Neive. The Pasquero-Elia family crafts elegant, age-worthy wines from their steep, calcareous vineyards in the famed Serraboella cru—particularly the prized old-vine parcel of Sori Paitin, known for its structure and depth. A benchmark for traditional Barbaresco, their wines are vinified with long macerations and aged in large neutral botti. From the nuanced Barbera d’Alba “Serra” to the fresh Langhe Nebbiolo “Starda”, Paitin remains a steadfast steward of classic Nebbiolo, with over two centuries of winemaking heritage.
