Chateau Montelena, Chardonnay - 89

2021, Napa Valley, CA - 100% Chardonnay. "Bright gold in color and incredibly aromatic, the ripeness of the vintage is most pronounced initially; melon, perfume, and orange blossom slowly give way to fresh peach, honeysuckle and apricot. There’s very little overt oak influence on the nose, although it comes across subtly in the background as pie crust and toast. There’s slightly more wood on the transition to the finish, surfacing as baking spice and crème brûlée. Notes of Asian pear, mango and pineapple—absolutely delicious. In time, expect hazelnut and almond to appear."

2024, Yakima Valley, WA - Grenache/Mourvèdre. "A clean mouthful of fruit with a crisp bright finish - In 2024, this direct-to-press intentional rosé is all from Oldfield Vineyard in Yakima Valley. The 2020 vintage is already drinkable at a young age, but capable of cellaring for many more. Sant'Angelus, "Scarlett" Merlot - 52

2021, Umbria, Italy - 100% Merlot. "2021 was a very dry hot summer which led to smaller yields but very concentrated wine. Scarlett is thus a red wine with an intense and impenetrable ruby ​​color. Made from Merlot with a small amount of Sangiovese, it has strong notes of red fruits, tobacco, caramel, and toasted coffee. The wine is robust with chalky tannins imparted by new French oak barrels."

Zenato, Ripassa - 39
